Retirement Residence
Arcadia offers a gracious, compassionate and dynamic environment, with a continuum of assured lifetime care. Since Arcadia opened in 1967, we have worked diligently to satisfy the physical, social and spiritual needs of every resident.
Arcadia is Hawaii's premier retirement residence and one of the finest in the nation. We are situated on three acres of fee simple property on Punahou Street, an upscale, tree-lined avenue near Honolulu's geographic center. Residents enjoy panoramic mountain, ocean and Diamond Head views, plus unparalleled access to all of Honolulu's social, cultural, educational and entertainment facilities.
Downtown Honolulu, Waikiki Beach, the University of Hawaii and the East-West Center Campuses, Ala Moana Center and many other cultural, recreational and shopping facilities are just minutes away by public transportation or by car. Churches of all major denominations are within walking distance.
Arcadia is owned and operated by Arcadia Retirement Residence, a 501C-3 not-for-profit corporation. It was founded by Central Union Church which is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.
