Services & Fees
To move into Arcadia as a resident, you must be at least 62 years of age. You’ll need to receive a physical examination by Arcadia’s Medical Director (cost of examination is at your expense) and an assessment by Arcadia's Geriatric Nurse Practitioner.
Your residency in an independent living unit must not adversely affect the health or safety of yourself or other residents, as solely determined by the Corporation.
In addition, you must show that your financial assets and income, as solely determined by Arcadia, are sufficient to pay the entrance fee and future payments of monthly fees including, but not limited to, fees for assisted living and the skilled nursing facility, as well as other personal expenses not provided for under the Resident Agreement.
A $200 non-refundable registration fee and $1,000 deposit are required in order to place your name on the waiting list. If you move into Arcadia, the $1000 deposit is applied toward your entrance fee.
ENTRANCE FEE:
The entrance fee provides a non-assignable personal right of occupancy in an apartment for life and availability of certain health care facilities. The fee varies according to the number of the occupants, the apartment size, and location. You may enter on and after your 62nd birthday. Entrance fees range from $104,843 to $369,814. Upon payment of the Entrance Fee, each resident is assured lifetime care at Arcadia unless he/she willfully and irresponsibly depletes his/her assets.
MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGES:
The monthly service charges are based on operating costs and vary according to the size of apartment and the number of occupants. Included in these service charges are the following:
• Three meals prepared daily under the supervision of a knowledgeable food service department, relieving you of the necessity of shopping and cooking
• Weekly maid service, saving you the burden of heavy housework
• Fresh linen provided weekly
• Use of all recreational facilities and the wellness center

• General health care protection
A guest apartment is available to guests of residents and those seriously interested in residing at Arcadia who wish to sample life at Arcadia.
