Tour Arcadia
Once a month, Arcadia hosts an "Aloha Hour". Our enormous, gracious lobby provides the perfect location. Everyone dresses for the evening to enjoy delicious pupus and animated conversation, as new residents are introduced.
Special annual celebrations - including the luau on Kamehameha Day and the barbecue on the 4th of July - attract many visitors.
The solarium level with a panoramic view of Honolulu and Diamond Head includes a private dining room with a satellite kitchen for residents wishing to entertain on an intimate scale.
The beautiful chapel with its stained glass window of a waterfall is a quiet place for meditation. Home to ecumenical services, it also doubles as an educational auditorium, meeting place, and movie theatre.
Because our residents include retired librarians, our library contains a wide selection of excellent literature that is both up-to-date and well managed. Our new library includes computers with Internet access and a Financial Reading Room where residents can track their investments.
